A contemporary design approach constructed upon the cultural heritage of Anatolian civilizations.
In Great Seljuk Empire geometrical patterns were used with repetition and complexity to convey the progression of continuous transitions.
Like wise, the complete chess set conveys uniformity, yet all the pieces still hold their distinct identity.The handles are distinctive extrusions of the same pattern; each being unique but arousing from a concerted origin. This cultivates the notion of interconnectedness between nature and man in Seljuk culture:
“the unity in diversity and the diversity in unity”.
