Paroxysmal & Split
This collection is part of mental disorder objectification series done for a health enterprise which investigates mental disorders. The series are inspired by real people with mental disabilities. Bottle shape is used to objectify people because of its containing and disari veren aspecti. Paroxysmal is about witnessing a patient with anxiety disorder who is going through paroxysm with intense somatic symptoms such as palpitations, sweating, dyspnoea, and hyperventilation. Glazing not only show the outburst but also the fact that the patient is being taken overy by the symptoms. Split is derived from observing the behaviors of another patient dealing with split personality disorder, the glaze reacts very different than the first by potraying fragmentation and rupture. The observations from these different phenomens are conveyed through the material language and it's behavior.
