Phonebook
The project touches upon changing modes of communication. The old and the new, the analog and the technology, the physical and the web are few points that are studied. Made by old Telephone Directory Book, the transformation from a page to a web is a physical portrayal of this invisible communication network. This invisible network is portrayed through the physicality of Directory Book's Pages. Produced by tying each page to the next, a giant chain web is constructed, and formed in to a chained network, thus compressing all the information and preserving it in. This invisible phenomenon has been tried to be portrayed through this work with the accompaniment of the soundwork that is unheralbele to the erar, but is captured with a special arduino that detect sounds made from technological equipments that are unherable to the humans.
