Slide
Slide is a modern remake of the traditional tambour style with a contemporary twist. The design bridges the boundary between esthetics and utility, classic and modern, and harmonizes form and function. The sliding motion is executed through various components which are designed to be visible rather than hidden.
The work efficiently utilizes available space and provides a lean but versatile work environment. Independent solutions have been harmonically applied to achieve the next level tabletop work experience. The potential work interactions allow more than one user, thereby yielding additional collaborative functionality.
The material and finishing of the product have been deliberately chosen to convey the spirit of the Victorian era furniture.
